Dear Uncle Lennie ft. Joachim Badenhorst

We all maintain an intimate relationship with stories: those told by the fireside, lived or dreamed, narratives drawn from films, folklore, or tales… When pianist and composer Camille-Alban Spreng founded Dear Uncle Lennie in 2022, it was with this desire: to question the evocative power of stories, without words, through brief instrumental forms. The project takes the shape of a chamber trio together with guitarist Benjamin Sauzereau and banjo player Marco Giongrandi.

In 2025, the trio returns with a second album Sister Juniper released on BMC Records and in collaboration with clarinetist Joachim Badenhorst.
