Présentation
The Lundis d’Hortense season opening party is an energetic celebration of jazz, made for friends, by friends. The evening will start with a celebratory concert by Antwerp-based band Unfinished Business, followed by a short vocal workshop by Sarah Klenes, Pauline Leblond and Alexandre Wajnberg. No need to be a professional musician: open your ears, dare use your voice and let yourself get carried away by some of the genre’s most emblematic standards. The evening will finish with a jam session open to all. Come listen, sing, play and party along!
Unfinished Business
Unfinished Business grafts jazz onto rock, funk and fusion influences, strongly rooted into hard bop. Their sound blends classics to contemporary freshness. Their structured compositions make room for a vibrant, alive improvisation, characterized by the spirit of ensemble.
Their music, always in movement, freezes nothing: it flows freely, like liquid honey. After an EP and stand out performances at Brosells, Gent Jazz or Jazz Middelheim, here comes their first album: Open For Business.
