Présentation
Starting in January, the Jazz Station will host Nicolas Kummert for a residency focused on improvisation. The sessions and concerts invite the audience to take an active part and revolve around two main themes.
IMPROVISE BRUSSELS brings together a multidisciplinary collective twice a month to explore collaborative improvisation and Soundpainting.
MOVING SOUNDS delves into the dialogue between acoustic and electronic instruments, and the tension and emotion generated by their encounter.
For this first MOVING SOUNDS evening, Nicolas invites INARJ (International Network for Artistic Research in Jazz) on the occasion of its world conference in Brussels. It’s a unique opportunity to listen to and meet improvisers from around the globe, and to engage with them on improvisation and musical exploration.
