Présentation
“Le Grand Partir’s music is an open window to the imagination” (Franpi Barriaux, Citizen Jazz). Le Grand Partir is an alternative jazz band led by Théo Lanau (Amaury Faye Trio, Mobilhome, SOROR…), a prolific and eclectic musician, influenced by the work of Jim O’Rourke, Robert Wyatt, Carla Bley and Fred Frith. Together with guitarists Benjamin Sauzereau (Remorque, FUR, Dear Uncle Lennie…), Léo Rathier (Harmattan Brothers, Chaman Chômeur…) and clarinetist and saxophonist Sam Comerford (Thunderblender, Hendrik Lasure’s Warm Bad…), the quartet delivers a sensitive and striking music.
