Présentation
Julien De Borman and Sébastien Willemyns immersed themselves in the work of the Belgian-Romanian sculptor Idel Ianchelevici (1909–1994). As they wandered through the Ianchelevici Museum, they musically reinterpreted a dozen sculptures, from towering bronze figures to the most delicate sketches.
Their music, both airy and precise, captures the breath of the forms, the momentum of the monumental, and the poetry of the sculpted gesture. Between accordion, keyboards, and violin, Flygmaskin brings into resonance the immaterial harmony of sound and the expressiveness of matter. A subtle invitation to breathe and set sail.
AURÉLIE CHARNEUX
A classically trained clarinetist, both creator and performer, Aurélie turned early toward improvisation and composition. Eastern music and swing have had a strong influence on her journey. She explores and blends different musical languages.
Cinquième Saison, the album by Charneux–Leleux–Puma, is her most recent project (released at the end of January 2025) on homerecords.be, and undoubtedly her most personal to date. She is currently also performing with the trio AME, alongside Marine Horbaczewski and Eve Beuvens.
