On the heels of 3 weeks in Japan, The RHQ will roar through Europe with their unique style and instrumentation. For the occasion, Rick Hollander has surrounded himself with exceptional musicians.

Herwig Gradischnig is a “natural” both as a tenor saxophonist and as the group’s frontman. His mastery of the jazz idiom coupled with a flowing style are simultaneously convincing and inventive. The steady, no-nonsense approach with which Paul operates reflects his maturity. Bassist Sebastian Claaswas is a newcomer to The RHQ. Sebastian’s talent, honesty and overall comfort with his chosen instrument help him realize his musical choices. When Hollander takes to the drum throne, you’ll hear a musician that possesses the empathy to accompany, coupled with the strength and vision with which to lead.
