Why are we launching this call?
Because Jazz Station is a unique space: for twenty years, our association has upheld a vision of music that is free, open, joyful, accessible, and alive. A place where music is not simply listened to, but shared, passed on, and transformed.
Today, this mission has become fragile. The current political instability in Brussels, marked by the absence of a government until now, along with successive cuts to our public funding, has made our economic balance extremely precarious for several years.
We have held steady, but our association is reaching its limits.
More than ever, the support of the public and our partners is essential to continue bringing this space and its values to life.
We are a non-profit organization, and all our efforts are focused on a fair, sustainable, and caring vision of our activities.
Today, our team is in danger, as are most of our support and mentoring activities, non-profit initiatives that are nevertheless absolutely essential.
A donation allows us to continue our work and to invite you to be part of this vision:
• supporting artistic creation and offering free and open support to today’s and tomorrow’s artists;
• promoting access to culture by maintaining fair and inclusive pricing;
• highlighting the local scene through a high-quality program and fair remuneration for sector professionals;
• developing our awareness-raising initiatives, fighting against gender-based and sexual violence, and supporting and increasing the visibility of FINTA artists;
• associating your image with a recognized artistic project, demanding, yet always welcoming.
