Echo Woods

At the heart of Echo Woods lies the meeting point between modern jazz and contemporary musical experimentation. The group combines the warmth of a classic trio with an unconventional wind section featuring bass clarinet, saxophones, bassoon and the sheng, a traditional Chinese mouth organ. This unique instrumentation creates a richly contrasted sonic landscape, balancing improvisation and composition through finely crafted melodies and delicate harmonic textures.
